In case you missed our launch party at Mixtape, Chris Uhren, Pittsburgh’s foremost art event photographer, took some banger photos.

Yay!Emma Riva, Travis Trium Perfectum, and Tom Ndiaye. I have been told I make this hand gesture very frequently.Group shot! More good times!Artist Dyvika Peel in an amazing outfit, and Aaron O’Neill of Greater Pittsburgh Arts CouncilAletheia watches someone photograph her artwork, which she was worried was too NSFW to put in the show.Having a signature cocktail named after my project was probably one of the top five things that has ever happened to me.Drink responsibly, lmfao. Carolyn Pierotti and friends! A special shoutout to Carolyn for bringing such a great crew of people and such great energy.Probably telling Dyvika how great her outfit is.With Silver Eye Director Leo Hsu and photographer Eduardo Rivera, who I had the pleasure of meeting at Radial Survey earlier that day. Who is that man on the projector? What music video is that from? Comment and tell me if you know.Writer, podcaster, and attorney Carly Bellini with work by Brent Pheto and Bob Freyer. The irony of Carly being next to a painting that says “it’s only illegal if you get caught” did not occur to me until now.Writer Alex Friedman with paintings by Grant Catton and Anthony Angelilli. And my favorite photo of the night…next to my dear friend Aletheia, espresso martini in hand, joy in my eyes…
An enormous thank you to everyone who came out and looked at the art, talked to me, subscribed, and all. It means the world to me—there was a time when I was a kid with basically no friends. Childhood me could never, ever imagine she would throw a party so many people would come to. To have so many people in this community show up for me has been such a deeply special experience. Everyone who contributes to this magazine, hung their art in the show, or sends me events to cover…that big smile in the photo above is for you.
